Three scientists of IP-BAS were nominated for the 2009 Pythagoras Annual Science Awards of the Bulgarian Ministry of Education, Youth and Sciences – Corr. member of BAS Iliya Rashkov, D.Sc., in the Distinguished Scientist in the in the field of natural sciences category; Prof. Nevenua Manolova, D.Sc. in the Distinguished Female Scientist category and Dr. Dilyana Paneva in the Young Scientist (under 35) category.
